Thousands of fishes referred to as “Penis Fishes” have appeared on some beaches in America especially in California.
The appearance of these 10-inch wiggly pink sausages at the Drakes Beach has got many talking.
There are indications winter storms in northern California triggered their appearances of the throbbing, phallic creatures.
Bay Nature reported that the fat innkeeper’s family (Urechidae) contains only four species worldwide, collectively known as either innkeeper worms or, well, penis fish.
According to Bay Nature reporting, these penile figures typically burrow under the sand, far beneath the feet of beachgoers, but the recent storms brought on some waves that swept away the layers, leaving them exposed.
But the penis fish is a human delicacy to some as especially in South Korea.
