Anthony Joshua had many fans on the edge of their seats during his win over Andy Ruiz Jr on Saturday night.

The Brit boxed perfectly to regain his heavyweight world titles, though it was a nervy watch for supporters as he attempted to stay out of danger for all 12 rounds.

One man who had more riding on the fight than most was his promoter Eddie Hearn.

It would’ve been a long 36 minutes for the Matchroom boss, who first of all was rooting for his friend in AJ.

On top of that, victory was very important for his US venture with streaming service DAZN.

If Ruiz Jr had triumphed, he’d have taken the belts – and control of the heavyweight division – back to rival advisor Al Haymon’s PBC on rival broadcaster FOX.

Eddie Hearn was ecstatic to see his man win back the belts

They would’ve then had complete dominance over the heavyweight scene as PBC also represent Deontay Wilder.

However, in the end it was Hearn who jumped into the ring celebrating and told AJ, ‘you schooled him,’ when the final bell rang.
